My long & short weekend at South Bend, IN for a Notre Dame Football game….

Our Halloween was pretty good after I got back from the trip below on here.  I had finish up decorating more like milk jogs with water in them with a light or glow stick near Halloween night.  We had scary solar mini lights I put in our yard to  illuminated some more.   Between 50 to 60 kids came by for trick or treat night before dinner started.  

Since we were away this past weekend the leaves really changed and fell allot around our neighborhood outside so lots people are doing work or hiring others to do that work.  

The NFL games are very boring for me.  Not sure how the Browns and Commanders will do the rest of the season.  Both teams didn’t finished the job at all correctly to get their wins.  Don’t understand teams strategy this days.

I see the Ted Lasso has a new season 3 just started on AppleTV.  I like this off the cut show to better reality show this days.  

I hear that ncaa basketball is starting up very soon.  Both of ND men & women teams are ready for session this team.  Men team has a new coach and the women are just reloaded as usually.  There rankings as stated at the start of the season.  I hope to be town for game and Go Irish!!!

My details of my Mini trip with younger brother to SouthBend, IN for a ND Football game weekend went like this:

Day 1:  We drove on/off 8:30hrs to 11hrs to get in this evening while resting/eating with some stops in the way.  We try to preorder some food from Rocco’s but the food wasn’t going to ready real late night so get it this time.  If we did order food here we would order a large pepperoni & sausage and 2 dishes of spaghetti & meatballs or sausage an a Julia’s Salad for 2.  All their food taste pretty awesome also.  We got a bad frozen New York style pizza from store brand fair dinner tonight but we got a stouffer's mini lasagna (some pepperoni  was in it also) for tomorrow’s dinner after the game.  We arrived at our South Bend, IN house (let us know) at a nice hour after going to the store for dinner stuff. Our house here is available for renting most of year and please let us if you be.  There was a ND Men Soccer game tonight we were pretty tired so we didn’t see the game - Preview and Results of the match.  There were two volleyball matches also for the ND Women team also.  Our mom suppled us our breakfast with eggs, bread (toasts) & sausage so we can save some money.  It worked out pretty well also.  Sometimes my meds interfere with my eating time this days.  Heading to sleep pretty early tonight since we are really tired too.

Day 2: We ate breakfast.  We have our secret place park to be not far from campus for cheap parking and we payed $20 for ours.  We tried to arrive on ND campus around the afternoon so we could walk around the area before heading the ND football game by visiting various parts on this special place.  While on campus we got a brat & drink and etc so we could save money before going into the stadium.  We walked around quit bit before the game.  Result of the game we went too.  Before heading off to the car we headed to the famous ND book store on campus that was on our way back the car.  We got a few things for other people.  I usually get the shirt before I come to ND football games by ordering online.  We kind rushed off to our car after everyone left the area and stadium.  Under 80,000 people know how to get out of town quickly.  We heated up our frozen lasagna for dinner as soon as we got back home in South Bend, IN.  It tasted pretty good.  We watched further college football but unable to see mlb championship since unable to get fox tv on our non cable hdtv set.  We fell  asleep a few times while watching tv after our big time on ND campus for walking & football game.  Off to sleep now after washing up according.  Always take your meds when you can.

Day 3:  we woke up to make breakfast.  Gather trash all up and recycle to dispose of before leaving town.  We left little late then we thought.   We refilled the gas tank for the car before heading back on the turnpike- toll road.  We left around 10:30am et and arrived around 8pm or 9pm et with plenty of rest stops.  I tried to drive for a few hours before the bro wanted to drive.  Weather conditions were rain/fog on/off with sun sometimes but in the mountains (rain & fog was ideal).  We survived that the bro had a big event for work he had to handle this Monday.

The polls for ND football will be different again after this last weekend.  Notre Dame is ranked #12 in both polls.  Supposedly the college football playoff rankings (not a care in the world since ND isn’t going to be high on it for the final four) are coming out after this weekend’s play.  ND is #15 in the college football playoff rankings.  Who wins the Heisman the trophy according to espn right here.  More bowl bids talk too.
